UPS Service Guarantee

Impact of Coronavirus on our Service Guarantee

The UPS continues to operate. The new Coronavirus pandemic has created unprecedented complexity, which has required us to constantly re-evaluate our operations. Our top priority is to help ensure the health and safety of our employees, customers and suppliers.

Suspension of the service guarantee

As of March 26, 2020 and until further notice, we have suspended the UPS Service Guarantee (also called the UPS Money Back Guarantee) for all shipments from any origin to any destination. As the effects of the Coronavirus impact our infrastructure, we will continue to seek assistance from local and national government bodies to ensure that we fully align with their regulations. We are committed to continuing to operate globally, except where bound by government restrictions.

Before shipping, please check if the recipient's location is open, as the opening hours may have changed due to local restrictions. If the location is closed, we can return the package to the sender. Keep visiting this site for the most up-to-date information on the impact of the Coronavirus on UPS services.

For your convenience, where available, UPS Access Point locations all provide access to your vital deliveries. Additionally, if available, you can sign up for free with UPS My Choice which allows you to provide more specific delivery instructions such as where to drop off deliveries or redirect deliveries to another location, and also gives you the option to receive delivery notifications.
